General structure of the database
UNaProd database is composed of natural products used in Iranian Traditional Medicine. Each entry corresponds to a single drug. Currently, all drugs are extracted from Makhzan al-Advieh, an encyclopedia of materia medica compiled by Mohammad Hossein Aghili the 18th century. For more information, refer to the following table which consists of details on the attributes provided for the drugs.

| ST | Status | Reviewed entries have been manually reviewed and annotated by UNaProd curators. Unreviewed entries are Computer-annotated entries that have not been reviewed by UNaProd curators. |
| DN | DrugName | The name that the author of “Makhzan-Al-Advieh” has provided for the drug. |
| TRM | TextRemarks | Extracted from Makhzan al-Advieh and includes general information about the drug, e.g. synonyms and pronunciation. This part mainly precedes Identity of the drug. |
| TID | TextIdentity | Extracted according to the ‘Mahiat’ (ماهیت) keyword, includes descriptions on the identity of the drug. |
| TMZ | TextMizaj | Extracted according to the ‘Tabiat’ (طبیعت) keyword, provides the Mizaj described for the drug. |
| TAM | TextActions&MedicinalUses | Extracted according to the ‘Afal va Khavas’ (افعال و خواص) keyword, and includes information about actions and medicinal uses of drugs. |
| TDO | TextDosage | Extracted according to ‘Shorbat’ (شربت) keyword, and includes information about dosages of the drug. |
| TAD | TextAdverseEffects | Extracted according to the ‘Mazar’ (مضار) keyword, and includes the adverse effects of the drug. |
| TRF | TextRefinements | Extracted according to the ‘Mosleh’ (مصلح) keyword, and provides the refinements to diminute or eliminate adverse effects of the drug. |
| TSB | TextSubstitute | Extracted according to the ‘Badal’ (بدل) keyword, contains the substitute provided for each drug. |
| PR | Pronunciation | Extracted from Expression field in Makhzan al-Advieh, and converted to International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) for Persian language. |
| SYN | Synonyms | Extracted by TextMining Expression and Identity fields in Makhzan al-Advieh. |
| ORG | Origin | Extracted by TextMining Identity field in Makhzan al-Advieh. Categories include Herbal, Animal, Mineral, Compound, and Other. |
| MZT | MizajType | Extracted by TextMining Mizaj field in Makhzan al-Advieh, and connected to IrGO database. |
| MZD | MizajDegree | Extracted by TextMining Mizaj field in Makhzan al-Advieh, and connected to IrGO database. |
